Hi! I’ve compiled a list of the furniture & decor items that we use in Luke’s “nursery”. I put the word “nursery” in quotations because Luke still refuses to sleep in his - these products are currently in various areas of our apartment, haha. But they are well-loved!

  • Hudson Crib from Babyletto in ‘Natural’

    • I love the neutral tone of this crib! The fact that it is easily convertible to a toddler crib is also a major plus.

  • Newton Baby Crib Mattress

    • This mattress has a hefty price tag but it is amazing. (I figured that out of everything, the mattress would be the first thing to splurge on) It is completely breathable, washable, and extremely comfortable.

  • Star Rug from Pottery Barn / Etsy in ‘Light Blue’ 8x10

    • I’m most excited about this purchase because I was able to find a dupe on Etsy for a few hundred bucks cheaper than on Pottery Barn. We bought the 8x10 rug and was surprised at the quality of this rug. It’s definitely going to grow with Luke. It is made of wool and is soft yet easy to vacuum!

  • Babyletto Swivel Glider and Ottoman in ‘White Linen’

    • I’m not going to lie, I was researching and eyeing this glider for so long and took the plunge because it was miraculously available on Target one day (this color is notorious for being sold out everywhere!) But I’ll admit that I rarely used the glider with Luke. It does look nice though and I know some moms swear by them!

  • Nanit Plus Baby Monitor

    • This was gifted to us by my father-in-law and though I was skeptical at the price tag at first, it was definitely worth it to us. The Nanit is able to detect when the baby is placed in or taken out of the crib and also when the baby FALLS asleep! It was a game-changer especially in the beginning when we were trying to figure out Luke’s sleep schedule! We never actually used the breathing band but I think it would’ve helped my anxiety if we did.

  • Humidifier from Amazon

    • I love this humidifier because it opens via a top-lid, so we can simply pour water into it rather than having to flip an entire container over to fill.

  • Playmat from Monomat in ‘Cream’

    • I was looking for a solid-colored playmat that was non-toxic and thick in case of falls. This is it! We keep it in our living room and the neutral tone goes with everything.

  • White Noise Machine from Hatch

    • The Hatch is simply the best. I’m constantly looking for Bluetooth-enabled products because they are so convenient for a busy mom.

  • Hemnes Dresser from Ikea in ‘White Stain’

    • This was such a difficult decision, haha! I knew I wanted the Hemnes dresser because it goes with everything and you can change out the knobs. However, I didn’t realize that it came in ‘white’ and ‘white stain’. Why oh why am I so indecisive? Anyway, I went with ‘white stain’ and LOVE the texture of it. It’s not as plastic-y or shiny as the ‘white’ and the wood grain slightly peeks through.

  • Aruba Blackout Curtains from Target in ‘Sour Cream’

    • I now understand why people swear by these. They look so expensive and do a great job at blocking out light. This neutral color is gorgeous.

  • White Floor Lamp from Target

    • I love how this floor lamp has a heavy, sturdy base and cannot be easily knocked over.

  • Medium-size Pom Pom Bins from Pehr in ‘Grey’

    • This was an impulsive purchase. There is no need for such expensive bins. But I had to have them. And I’m not mad.

  • Sebastian the Lamb Stuffed Animal from Cuddle+Kind

    • I had to link this because it is my absolute favorite doll. They make such good gifts as well!
